FOR NONPROFIT

CONSULTANTS

WHO REFUSE TO SETTLE

Because burnout isn’t a badge of honor, and you deserve a business that f*cking works.

You left the job.
But somehow, the dysfunction followed you.

You didn’t sign up to be a business owner, therapist, admin, and emergency hotline.

But here you are—writing proposals at midnight, dodging scope creep, and apologizing for your rates before you even hit send.

You’re brilliant at what you do.

But running a consulting business? That part feels made up as you go.

Build a business that funds your mission and your handbag habit

  • Charge rates that would make your old ED clutch their pearls.

  • Get hired by nonprofits who respect your time and your fees.

  • Take a vacation—an actual one—with zero email guilt.

  • Fire the client who treats you like their 24/7 staff…and still pay yourself more than your in-house salary.

This isn’t about chasing money.

It’s about building a business that pays you well because of your impact—not in spite of it.

I built the business I was told didn’t exist.

I’m Cindy. You can think of me as your business big sis. I can be soft and caring when it’s needed, but I’m also going to tell it like it is.

I have the credentials: I spent over 20 years in the nonprofit sector, the last eight of which I built a $500,000/year business. I have an MBA and am a certified Neurocoach.

But my clients love working with me for my strategic brain, impecable track record, and no BS style.

I believe in abundance and my clients can feel more optimistic and expansive when in my orbit. The nonprofit sector teaches people to be small, to play small, and to self-sacrifice. I teach consultants how to not apologize for their ambition and to have an impact without sacrificing their personal goals.

I’ve been described as unapologetic, innovative, bold, generous and hard working. My biz friends say I’m the “definition of getting shit done.”

Most of all, I’m on your team! I’m here to help you build the business and life without sacrificing your commitment to doing good in the world.

"It's really RARE for a person to be BOTH the devil and the angel on your shoulder. Trusted enough to be there, to challenge, instigate, counsel and support. When I was in crisis, as a VP 25 years into my career, Cindy's counsel and support helped me create a new world of possibility and abundance because the alternative was a heart attack.

“I went from saying yes to almost any project that paid because I didn’t know where my work was going to come from, to being booked out 6 months in advance!”

For the nonprofit pro who’s done playing small

You might still be in-house, dreaming of a consulting path that won’t chew you up.

Or maybe you’ve already taken the leap, but you’re juggling too many roles, undercharging, and wondering if you’re doing this right.

Either way, you’re not here for hustle culture.

You’re here for clarity, clients who pay well and respect your time, and a business that makes space for the rest of your life.

Rickesh…

Following a long-term stint as an ED, Rickesh was burned out. He narrowed in on a business idea that fit his passion and skills and successfully launched Radiance Advisory. He not only is happy with his income, but he took a month sabbatical and first first vacation alone with his wife since their kids were born.

Rebekah…

Wanted to take a 6 month maternity leave in business AND still get paid and continue to deliver client work. She was able to restructure her offerings, build a team, and take time off to be with her newborn.

Lacey…

Lacey was feeling trapped by her own success - being busy but not doing the work she wanted to be doing. Now her business, Balanced Good has become synonymous with parental leave coverage in the sector - the exact thing she had dreamed of.
